This morning we decided to go to the main office for "Oz
Experience" (People providing our transportation from town to town)
to let them know we wanted to move on. Their office is in Kings Cross,
so we decided to stay there after tonight. We will be leaving for the
town Nuddle a.k.a.: Hills of Gold, a little into the bush! Janey, our
guide in Kings Cross, hooked us up. We also bought a day trip into the
Blue Mountains, more on that tomorrow!

Today we spent most of the day walking around downtown Sydney looking
for a place to update my web-jounal. Well, we finally found a place and
returned to the hostel and it was already 4:00pm and we had no plans,
so to the beach we went! We decided to try a beach a little south of Bondi
Beach called Coogee Beach. We arrived at about 5:00pm and had about an
hour plus of sun left, but the waves sucked, so we asked someone how far
to walk to Bondi - 40 min. walk - no problem. There was a great trail
along the shore and cliffs to Bondi where we took some amazing photos.

Along the way we had to walk through a cemetery - interesting!

Just before Bondi Beach there was another beach called Bronte Beach, where
we went swimming and almost bit it from a rip tide. The waves were incredible
so we decided to jump in before sundown. The lifeguard (usually there
aren't any lifeguards) was constantly yelling and blowing his whistle
to warn people of the rocks. Sid and I got snagged in the powerful rip
tide along with a few others, we were struggling to swim against it, and
finally after exhausting ourselves made it out.

After changing and showering, we decided to continue to Bondi Beach for
some dinner. Bondi was pretty lively, we saw an Aborigine playing a Digeridoo.
We then made the trek home and crashed early for tomorrow's Blue Mnts.
adventure.
