Today I did my souvenir shopping and bought myself an authentic Australian leather jacket and hat. I wanted to buy a digeridoo, but they were really expensive if you wanted a good one. They are also a pain to travel with. Later in the day we went to a talk about the Great Barrier Reef, it was called "Reef Teach." The guy who taught it was a crazy Irishman named Paddy Colwell. He is a qualified marine biologist and dive instructor. He basically explained how the reef was formed, the fish and animal life around the reef and how the coral reproduce. I would recommend this to anybody ever visiting Cairns, it was excellent!
