On the road again this morning and heading towards Townsville/Magnetic Island, our last stop before the end of our trip at Cairns. There was a hill in Townsville called Castle Hill, while waiting for the ferry to Magnetic Island, we took a cab to Castle Hill and had a great view of the area including Magnetic Island.

I had a bunch of pictures from Magnetic Island, but they somehow seem to have disappeared? Anyway, we took a walk and found a trail up to a high point of the island and saw some excellent scenery of the rocky shores of the island and the surrounding land. I'd show you....if I had the pictures I know I took! The accommodations on the island weren't that great compared to what we were used to. We stayed in these A-frame dorms, very hot, sticky, and stinky! Well, we were happy to leave the next day. Chris was still with us and decided to stay on the island a couple days and meet up with us in Cairns.
