Toady we decided to go back to the beach for a swim.

Our friends eventually joined us; Jerry, Sid, Ben, Lindsay, Sylvia, Colette, Chris, and Clair.

Me, Sid and Ben decided to go surfing at Belongil Beach. The hostel let you use their boards for free. It was quite a hike(about a mile) in the glaring sun, but had a great view of the beach from above.

The waves were perfect for learning.......

.....but their was an incredible cross tow that made it almost impossible for us to stay in one place, we kept ending up near the rocks once again swimming for our lives! We never even got up onto the boards! After we had enough of that we headed back for a much needed nap.

Today is Sylvia's birthday so we decided to all go out for dinner. (Sylvia is the one at the end of the table in the white shirt)

After dinner we walked up towards the beach and found some performers playing with fire batons. I experimented with keeping the shutter open, it worked OK.

We then went to The Carpark nightclub. We were a sad group, not very motivated for anything.

Once we got a few drinks in us things started to liven up.

Once we exhausted the Sangria specials they were having, a few of us decided to hit the dance floor, nobody was up there but us! We then went to Cocomongas pub and danced a little more and went home.
