Leaving Nundle (yeaaa!) and heading for Bingara today. Our first stop on the way is "Dead Horse Gold Mine" in an area called Hanging Rock. A couple runs the mine hoping to strike it rich one day. We got a tour inside the mine.

We also got a chance to pan for gold and keep anything we found. I wasn't so lucky to find anything, but Sid found a couple flakes and a small crystal.

Nobody found any big nuggets, so we hopped back on the bus and headed for our final stop of the day, Bingara. Here's a few shots of the scenery we're seeing on the road......

We finally make it to Bingara and after a steak dinner from the hostel grills, we hung out on the trampoline to watch the stars. We went to bed to get rest for horse back riding tomorrow!
